Zedu Weekly Wrap – 29 November 2024
What a fun week we’ve had…
getting out and about in the field, scanning babies back-to-back topped off by the Christmas party – which to be quite frank we’re still recovering from. Turns out the Zedu crew is a little competitive… š
It’s also amazing to see the speed of migration from X to BlueSky, and really cool to see everybody popping up in our timeline. It’s said change is as good as a holiday, and I hope the goodwill of the #FOAMed #Meded #POCUS community continues to live on strong on the new platform. You’ll find us here – Bluesky – @zedunow.bsky.social – come and say hello.
News highlights from free media this week:
- The WIN IN WEAN study in the Critical Care Journal (@Crit_Care) – Weaning of non COPD patients at high-risk of extubation failure assessed by lung ultrasound: the WIN IN WEAN multicentre randomised controlled trial (26 November)
- Philippe Rola (@ThinkingCC) and team with a fantastic article on “VExUS: common misconceptions, clinical use and future directions” (26 November)
- Sidharth Sethi (@sidsdoc) on POCUS in pediatric AKI (27 November)
- Katie Wiskar (@katiewiskar.bsky.social) talking about common pitfalls in obtaining cardiac
POCUS images (27 November)
There’s something for everyone.
Better head off and hide from the Black Friday Sales mania!!!
See you next week
