Zedu Weekly Wrap – 22 April 2022
Terrible internet this week…
as we enjoyed a few extra days post Easter camping at the beach. Being offline quickly reminds you to be present – even if it is only concentrating on drying wet towels left outside in the rain by the kids.
But the niggle that there are ultrasound fans like you waiting on the latest info is always there. So I am typing this on my lap in an exposed camp kitchen waiting for a slow boiling water for a cup of coffee (the other thing lacking while camping…much more concerning). Do check out the article about transcranial Doppler earlier in the week – fascinating! And the latest POCUS Journal is now hot off the press – or whatever the internet/electronic equivalent is.
Won’t waste any more time – or bandwidth.
As always, if there’s something on the horizon that you’d like added to our weeklywrap – or something we’ve missed – let us know.
See you next week.

P.S. – This month’s Coaching Corner on transvaginal ultrasound is available now. Register for future free ZOOM sessions – the first Thursday of each month – by checking here. And have a look at the back catalogue – there’s something for everyone.

One of my favorite topics in #POCUS – various effusions seen from different sonographic windows.
Here is a thread 🧵with labeled images for those interested.

12 year old male found to have diffuse abdominal pain and fevers. His family states that there is a strong family history of gallstones, prompting you to perform a POCUS. What are the findings??
