Zedu Weekly Wrap – 29 April 2022
The final week of April…
which means in all practical senses down here in the southern hemisphere Winter is here. But not being the hibernating type, we’re cooking up some ideas to keep the POCUS fires burning over the colder months as we look forward to Spring.
Speaking of Spring, why not check out Suean’s blog on how you can bloom as a SEED – if you don’t know what these are in the ultrasound context she explores the who, what where and why behind the acronym. Plus we recommend tuning into the POCUS Journal podcast Episode 05: “Impact of POCUS in Medical Decision Making: Developing an IM Global Health POCUS Curriculum”.
As always, if there’s something on the horizon that you’d like added to our weeklywrap – or something we’ve missed – let us know.
See you next week.
Mike and Suean
P.S. – May’s Coaching Corner is almost here. Register to participate for these free ZOOM sessions by checking here. And have a look at the back catalogue – there’s something for everyone.

I've had discussions of late with sonographers (on- & off-line) curious as to what a SEED is
So I took up my quill & scribed my thoughts on what it takes to be a #Sonographer Educator in the Emergency Department

Concerned about PTX? Consider #POCUS to quickly assess! A lung point is diagnostic while lung sliding or b lines rule out PTX. Signif higher sensitivity compared to CXR. Check out our Intern US of the Month by Dr. Blake Nelson to learn more! #FOAMed
