Zedu Weekly Wrap – 11 April 2025
Our advice this week is get your flu shot early…

as it seems 2025 is going to be a bad flu season. We’ve had educators, visitors, learners and patient models alike all hit in one way or another – just in time for school holidays 🙁 While everyone here that has been impacted are on the mend, the warning is out – we don’t wish it on anyone!
Highlights from the ultrasound news in this week’s issue 🚀✨
- Why and how counting ribs using ultrasound is importasnt from Amit Pawa (8 April)
- Amazing research happening at Delft University who have been able to image capillaries and cells in living organs with ultrasound (5 April).
PLUS – be sure to keep an eye on our socials for the latest ‘What are we scanning?’ series – we’ve taken everyday items and scanned away – and had a lot of fun putting these together.
Now we’re working our way to an extended long weekend period next week – ANZAC + Easter = a monster break for everyone. Can’t wait…

It’s been a while since I posted a case. But this image has so much going on it was hard to resist.
The patient insisted I used the clips for teaching, which is always nice!
