Zedu Weekly Wrap – 13 February 2026
Big week in ultrasound across anaesthesia, obstetrics, cardiology and primary care…

from robotic 3D echo fusion to real-world GP implementation data and evolving management of ectopic pregnancy, the research out there continues to reinforce one thing: ultrasound is no longer optional – it is foundational.
And getting those foundations is right is vital for the benefits of ultrasound to reach their full potential. This is the finding of the latest research that Suean co-authored with Samuel Garcia Rubio and Yale Tung-Chen published in Medicina Clínica this week. The paper maps out the future of POCUS training in infectious diseasesand highlights how we can bridge the gap from “attending a course” to true clinical mastery. Check it out (12 February).
Other pieces of note this week:
- Ultrasonography in General Practice: Implementation in a Low-Income Amsterdam Neighbourhood (10 February)
- Current Challenges in the Diagnosis and Management of Ectopic Pregnancies (9 February)
Plus be sure to take a look at Jonny Wilkinson’s POCUS finds of the month – always full of gems!
Keep your probes clean and the gel warm.

Make 2026 your year of ultrasound and check out our range of
scheduled and one-on-one options that will get you scanning like a pro.
Plus – as the cultural capital of Australia – why not tie in a bit of training with a touch of AO tennis, speed through at the Melbourne GP or have a laugh at the International Comedy Festival.
If you know the value of protected learning time, secure your place early.
P.S. – don’t forget – if something doesn’t quite fit your learning objectives or availability we can design and deliver a program that meets your needs. Don’t tell everyone though – availability is limited.
