Zedu Weekly Wrap – 2 October 2026
Had another flat out week at ZeduHQ…
with a couple down with late winter/early spring illness – so we are all defintely up for a rest over the weekend. The show has gone on though – the team have covered each other to ensure the training has not been affected – legends.
Highlights in the news of the week:
- Blocktober is back – Jeff Gadsden, Amit Pawa (the team behind the Block it like it’s hot podcast) will be delivering the best in regional anaesthesia online learning free via their socials – be sure to keep an eye out.
- An interesting piece on the impact of AI on women’s health in LMICs – “Artificial intelligence for women’s reproductive health: A scoping review of global diagnostic trends, methodological gaps, and a translational research agenda for low-resource settings” (PLOSOne, 26 September)
Time to enforce some R&R I think.
Keep your probes clean and the gel warm.

Is in-person “hand-on-hand” probe guidance an outdated crutch?🩺 👩🏫If you can’t teach #ultrasound remotely via teleguidance, are you failing as a teacher? Share your thoughts below or in our Ultrasound Educator Support Network!👇 www.facebook.com/groups/23205… #ultrasoundtraining #POCUS
