Zedu Weekly Wrap – 21 July 2023
Friday has come around fast…

as has the weekly wrap – just keeping up! We got a nice present this week from our friends at Mindray, who have installed their latest point of care system – the TEX20. We’ve been putting it through its paces in a cardiac course this week – if you haven’t seen the system come pay us a visit and try it for yourself.
There’s plenty of ultrasound resources, news, views and information to keep the brain ticking. This week we recommend checking out:
- friend of Zedu J. Christian Fox who discusses the need for more extensive education to unlock the potential of ultrasound in a recent episode of the Medical Imaging for All podcast (21 July)
- Yale Tung-Chen has co-authored a paper in @SpanishJMed – Evidence of the usefulness of #VEXUS score in the diagnosis & treatment of the cardiorenal syndrome: a narrative review in ( 18 July)
That’s it for now – see you same time same place!

P.P.S. Get the most out of your teaching moments – join our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course This isn’t a course on how to perform an ultrasound examination or use the technology – it’s designed to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. In the words of a previous participant – it’s meta!

What's the biggest obstacle to wide-spread usage of ultrasound? On a recent episode of the Medical Imaging for All podcast, I discussed the need for more extensive education to unlock the potential of ultrasound, with Ohad Arazi, CEO of Clarius.https://t.co/rTtP7YQ4YG

Many people call #ultrasound the #stethoscope of the 21st century, but maybe it’s bigger than that. With advances in #artificialintelligence and other #technology, @EMNSpeedofSound says #POCUS could revolutionize medicine—again. #AI #FOAMed #FOAMus https://t.co/ZrJTW1yCtg pic.twitter.com/2cpz0krotD
