Zedu Weekly Wrap – 29 May 2026
We made it to the Australasian Sonographers Association annual conference…

battling the terrible weather of the Gold Coast – so much for beautiful one day perfect the next 🙂
Booth number 21 is now set for a full onslaught at the world’s biggest sonographer conference; we’ve warmed up the vocal chords set the prizes and giveaways and are just waiting for the doors to open.
Come sit and chat at our kitchen table about how we can both advance sonographer education and provide support to clinical supervisors. Or just make yourself comfortable and have a yarn – we’d love to see you there.
News of note this week:
- “Diagnostic Performance of General Practitioners in Carotid Plaque Detection Using AI-Enhanced Point-of-Care Ultrasound After Systematic Training” in Annals of Family Medicine (28 May)
- “Proposing the Learning Ultrasound in Critical Care Framework for a Longitudinal Competence Program for Point-of-Care Ultrasound in Critical Care—A Modified Delphi Survey” in AJUM (25 May)
Looking forward to a big weekend!
Keep your probes clean and the gel warm.

P.S. If you have students or trainees who are struggling to grasp physics core concepts – or who just can’t see how the math applies to the probe in their hand – be sure to get them to check out our brand-new Ultrasound Physics Simplified Online Module 🚀- the perfect gift that will keep on giving.
