Zedu Weekly Wrap – 30 September 2022
October has arrived…
heralded by longer days, fast growing lawns and hayfever. No reason to complain though as Melbourne emerges into it’s glorious Spring – a far cry from last year.
Plenty to keep the ultrasound expert and POCUS enthusiast up to date this week. The Ultrasound G.E.L. team (@PratsEM) podcast focuses on nasogastric tube placement, a new version of the EchoTools app is out (rishikumarmd) and intersting resources on cutaneous leiomyomatous tumors and a new ultrasonographic sign from Ximena Wortsman (@xworts)
We’re also getting ready for the Coaching Corner – this month discussing how to choose the right ultrasound machine – please join in and bring your experience along – the more the merrier.
Time to enjoy the sun – see you next week.

Join the POCUS Educators / Seed Support Network on Facebook – a safe space to share education tips, resources and issues. People from around the world are joining in so come on down.
Get the most out of your teaching moments – join our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course This isn’t a course on how to perform an ultrasound examination or use the technology – it’s designed to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. In the words of a previous participant – it’s meta!Β We’re running this internationally recognised course in Australia for the first time in July and October – don’t miss out.
