Zedu Weekly Wrap – 28 September 2023
The Australian Rules Football Finals are here…
which means a public holidays for us Aussies living in the state of Victoria – yay! The weather forecast looks glorious, so hopefully by this time tomorrow the barbecue should be warming up and the food prep in in full swing. Who would have thought that there is a life outside of ultrasound!?!?
But for those of you having to keep the world running, there is plenty of ultrasound news, views and information to keep you busy. Take a look at:
- a few posts by Jonny Wilkinson (@Wilkinsonjonny) including a piece with Marcus Peck (@ICUltrasonica) on AI in POCUS (25 September)
- The ever bountiful resources created by Michael Prats (@PratsEM) – this time a podcast on heart failure (18 September).
And a reminder – the next Coaching Corner is coming up on Thursday October 5 – this month we’ve had a request to cover liver ultrasound. Set your reminders for that now – 7.30pm Australian DAYLIGHT SAVING time. You can REGISTER NOW HERE…
Heading out the door now…good luck if your team is in the final.
See you next week.
Suean and Mike

Interesting #RoyalBerks. Is FAMUS/POCUS the future of #geriatrics to reduce inappropriate diuretics / antibiotics? Should @GeriSoc follow @acutemedicine & push for trainees to have time to learn this skill instead of lines/ drains @RCPhysicians #EuGMS2023 #EuGMS @EuGMSSociety pic.twitter.com/j3lAoU195L
