Covid-19: 2 September 2021 shutdown
A lockdown extension in Victoria has been announced.
The Premier of Victoria has announced an extention to the lockdown to at least 11:59pm, Thursday 23 September.
As has been our approach throughout this pandemic, we will closely follow the advice of Victoria’s chief health officer, the Department of Health (Vic) (VDoH) and Department of Health (Fed) (DoH).
This means that we anticipate reopening as soon as it is safe and practical to do so.
However – as we have all come to understand – this reopening date is contingent on Victoria meeting vaccination thresholds and the many uncontrollable forces we find ourselves subject to.
What this means for you
If you are scheduled to attend a course or any other form of face-to-face training over the period covered by the lockdown – at the minimum to Thursday 23 September – our covid policy applies.
At this point of time (2 September), if you are scheduled to attend a course or any other form of face-to-face training at the conclusion of the lockdown restrictions, we are working on the assumption that this training can be delivered as planned.
However, should the lockdown be extended or your workplace/state directions prevent you from attending we will continue to apply our policy.
You’ve made the commitment to learn – we’ve made the commitment to deliver.
We’ll be in touch personally to ensure you know what’s happening.
