Zedu Weekly Wrap – 3 September 2021
Well that escalated quickly …
with Victoria seeing an explosion of case numbers we’ve seen a significant shift in the official discourse here – ‘living with covid’ by getting a percentage of the population vaccinated now being the objective. Political motivations aside, we can only hope that the general population heeds the message as, by the accounts we have heard, the ‘health system’ (aka you) are being pushed to the limits now. We’re thinking of you all.
This week sees the celebration of the fifth birthday of Ultrasound G.E.L. – a go to site for all the latest in ultrasound literature. Co-founded by Michael Prats @PratsEM, Creagh Boulger @CreaghB, and Jacob Avila @UltrasoundMD with guest appearances and podcasts co-hosted by a whole swag of experts, if you haven’t already checked this site out make it your priority this week.
Plenty of other #FOAM goodness this week – something for everyone. And don’t forget – if you see something we might have missed let us know.
See you next week.
Mike and Suean
P.S. – Last night’s Coaching Corner on forearm blocks with Dr Elias Jaffa – Clinical Assistant Professor at University of South Carolina School of Medicine – was a blast. We’ll have the recording up soon.
