Zedu Weekly Wrap – 27 October 2023
Hey crew…
it has been baby central here this week with our pediatric course in full swing. There has been noise, prams, feeding stations and changing areas set up to keep the place running – and our physicians are loving it! Needless to say between the nursing and catching up with our new mums not a lot of work has been done 🙂
In contrast it’s been a quiet week on the news front. Highlights we recommend looking at:
- Michael Prats (@PratsEM) released his latest US GEL PODCAST on Artificial Intelligence for Echo Hemodynamic Tools (October 23)
- Adrian Wong (@avkwong) has amazingly put together a thread of the #POCUS #echofirst posters presented at #LIVES2023 (October 27).
Plus we’re looking forward to Tuesday – the official day for Hocus #POCUS – a little halloween ultrasound fun will be had!
And – on a final note – today is Australasian Sonographers Day, providing us with an opportunity to stop and thank our crew and all the other ultrasonographers out there that make a difference in people’s lives every day. We’ll have a quiet wee celebration this evening – after the course finishes 🙂
See you in November…

scheduled and one-on-one options that will get you scanning like a pro.
Get the most out of your teaching moments – join our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course This isn’t a course on how to perform an ultrasound examination or use the technology – it’s designed to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. In the words of a previous participant – it’s meta!
