Zedu Weekly Wrap – 3 March 2023
Autumn’s rolled around already…

the evenings are getting darker sooner and we’ll soon be seeing the leaves drop. But we’ve been making sure the gel is warm, the coffee hot and the learning on fire 🙂
Last night’s coaching corner was a lot of fun, talking proximal DVT – conincidentally in DVT awareness month. This will be up live and free soon – keep your eyes peeled for that.
There’s ultrasound resources aplenty to work through this week. Highlights to check out include @PratsEM and Part 2 of the US GEL Podcast series on inclusion in the POCUS community, @Wilkinsonjonny with his monthly wrap of critical care FOAM finds, and the not to miss Jeff Gadsden (@jeffgadsden) and Amit Pawa (@amit_pawa) talking “WetAxilla” in the Block It Like It’s Hot Podcast (@BlockIt_Hot_Pod).
This and more – all worth checking out. And as always, if you have research, news, views or resources you’d like included in the weekly wrap please drop us a line – we are always up for an ultrasound chat.
See you next week.
Suean and Mike
P.S. The March Coaching Corner on proximal DVT was a hit last night – the recording will be up shortly. While you’re waiting check out the tips & tricks you can use to take the pain out of foreign bodies – available now and free on the website.
Get the most out of your teaching moments – join our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course This isn’t a course on how to perform an ultrasound examination or use the technology – it’s designed to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. In the words of a previous participant – it’s meta!
