Zedu Weekly Wrap – 26 August 2022
Putting the finishing touches on this #weeklywrap…
before hitting the road again! Off into the hinterland of Victoria educating the rural and remote physicians of the future. We’ll only be running on our caffeinated poison of choice by the end of it, but these weekends are always rewarding.
Highlights this week include the release of the New International Guidelines and Consensus on the Use of Lung Ultrasound (@AIUMultrasound) – to a mixed reaction on social media. Take a look for yourself and let us know what you think. The potential for an increase in finding incidentalomas assocaited with increasing ultrasound workshops was raised in the Pocus Journal (@POCUSJournal), an issue that was also addressed in our POCUS Educators / Seed Support Network on Facebook.
We encourage you to join this community as it is growing fast, with representatives from every part of the world all eager to learn and share. Also check out the ever reliable resources from @MH_EMultrasound and @NephroPocus.
Off now to pack the bags and ultrasound systems…
See you next week
Suean and Mike
P.S. – The September coaching corner is around the corner – coming to you live and free 1 September 7.30pm AEST. Can’t wait? The back catalogue is available on our website check it out here…
Get the most out of your teaching moments – join our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course This isn’t a course on how to perform an ultrasound examination or use the technology – it’s designed to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. In the words of a previous participant – it’s meta! We’re running this internationally recognised course in Australia for the first time in July and October – don’t miss out.
