Zedu Weekly Wrap – 26 May 2023
Hey team Zedu…
we’ve had a fun few days, focusing on obstetrics and gynaecology. We’ve all been having a laugh as we scan a LOT of tums and – in many instances – babysit on the side. Given the interest in what’s going on shown by all the toddlers, I’ve no doubt that we’ve inspired more than one generation of ultrasound users.
And to inspire you is our next task; there’s plenty of free goodies to do that this week. Ergonomics again makes an appearance as an issue of significance – take a look at the article from the @SDMS (25 May). Philippe Rola (@ThinkingCC) is releasing content from last year’s HR22 – check out the talk by Kylie Baker (@kyliebaker888) on POCUS for Pulmonary Perfusion – there’s a tongue twister. And in general news check out the article from Phys.org (@physorg_com – 23 May) on amazing developments in wearable ultrasound tech.
It has been a big week in news, so sit down with a cuppa and have a browse.
See you next week…
Suean and Mike
P.S. Get the most out of your teaching moments – join our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course This isn’t a course on how to perform an ultrasound examination or use the technology – it’s designed to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. In the words of a previous participant – it’s meta!
